There are many that find the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini appealing despite the questionable specs. These are people who like the sleek look of the S3 but who want a device that is smaller. At the moment the S3 Mini is only available internationally. However this may soon change as the Mini could be heading to the US.
Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini could be headed to US stores
The FCC has said that the device is safe to be used in the US and it has now got certification. However while this doesn’t mean that it will arrive straight away in the US, it should get there at some point, otherwise what would have been the point in putting it through FCC certification?
At the moment there is no LTE version of the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini as Samsung concentrated on European markets with the device. However there would be nothing to stop them from releasing an LTE version, as they did with the original Galaxy S3.
The baby version of the Samsung Galaxy S3 boasts a 4 inch Super AMOLED display and a dual core processor of 1GHz. The camera on the back is 5 megapixels, with a VGA camera on the front.
One thing in the favour of the Samsung Galaxy S3 is the fact that it comes with Android Jelly Bean out of the box. This means that users have access to project Butter and a host of other features, including Google Now.
