Samsung are reportedly getting ready to launch a smaller version of their popular Samsung Galaxy S3 and it may come with a low retail price so as to attract customers reports PopHerald.
Baby Samsung Galaxy S3 to come with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean preloaded (rumor)
The Samsung Galaxy S3 has been one of the most popular handsets of 2012 thanks to the Samsung Galaxy brand and the awesome upgrades it has gotten since its predecessor. It now seems they want to grab more market share as there is a rumor of a baby Samsung Galaxy S3 coming next.
Rumors say that the baby Samsung Galaxy S3 will come with a cheaper price tag, but this would mean that Samsung will have taken out some of the more expensive components. It is thought that the smaller handset would come with a dual core processor and it would not have the power of the Exynos 4 quad core. There are rumors that it will be released with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean so the handset would run very well thanks to Project Butter improvements even with some slightly lowered powered hardware. The Samsung Galaxy S3 of course comes with Ice Cream Sandwich and is expected to get the Jelly Bean update somewhere down the line.
It is thought that the touch screen will be smaller than its larger brother and the camera may be 5 megapixels. This would be more in line with the camera of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
Rumors suggest that the cut down version of the Samsung Galaxy S3 will cost around $200 to $300 if you want the unlocked version, which at the moment is around $300 cheaper than you can get your hands on the Galaxy S3 with 16GB.
The baby Galaxy S3 happens to be the first Android 4.1 Jelly Bean phone with the new TouchWiz reported to come from Samsung.
