The Samsung Galaxy S3 update to Jelly Bean will be pushed out internationally in October. While this is great for those that live over the pond, it is not so good for those in the US who are thought to be getting it around November only reports GottaBeMobile.
Samsung Galaxy S3 Jelly Bean update US release date sometime in November only
The first devices to get the Jelly Bean update will be unlocked as this happened with previous updates. If you have unlocked international version of the Samsung Galaxy S3 then expect to see it heading your way in October. The carrier brands are then expected to follow on in Europe next.
The updates to Samsung Galaxy S3 phones in the US will then roll out after that but exactly when no one knows for sure. Often carriers are slow to push out upgrades and are typically behind the rest of the world. The ICS update rolled out in the US a month following the update in the UK for certain Samsung handsets, so it’s possible based on this that the US would get Jelly bean around November only concludes GBM.
On a side note, Samsung is expected to release the Galaxy Note 2 will Jelly Bean preloaded sometime in November as well. So this may tie in with other existing Samsung handsets getting the latest update.
