There is good news for those who have been waiting for the released of Jelly Bean for the Samsung Galaxy S3 as it is thought that the update will begin to roll out this week to international versions of the handset reports ProductReviews. It is thought that the US Samsung Galaxy S3 will have to wait until later in the month.

Just days ago an unofficial update was leaked for the Samsung Galaxy S3, however many people have chosen to wait until the official update is released. News that the update may begin rolling our this week came from through SamMobile and at the moment it is unclear which regions will be getting their hands on the update first. However it is thought that it will not be the USA.

Meanwhile GSMArena has been testing the Jelly Bean update and have been testing out the ROM and there are numerous new features, including Project Butter and Google Now. This is an update worth its wait, as it is big and it does provide numerous features and improvements over Android 4.0.

So if you are in Europe you may not have too long to wait for the official released of Jelly Bean for your Samsung Galaxy S3. Coincidentally this is also a big week for Apple fans as the iPhone 5 is expected to be unveiled. The iPhone 5 of course is a major rival to the Samsung Galaxy S3 and both devices will certainly be making headlines this week.
