If you have been waiting for the Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy S3, today is the day as Android 4.1 has started to roll out for the device, starting in Europe.
Samsung Galaxy S3 Jelly Bean update begins its rollout
The first reports of the update began arriving in the forums on Monday morning that the update was available in Poland. Other European countries then followed and reports came in from Romania about the update hitting users there.
Samsung had said that the update would be available in October, so it seems some parts of Europe are seeing it earlier. The Samsung Galaxy S3 happens to one of the most prominent of devices in the stable of Android at the moment and Samsung are one of the leaders in the Android market. The update to Jelly Bean does come with customizations from Samsung and one of the biggest changes is Google Now.
Extra features come to Samsung Galaxy S3 alongside Jelly Bean
The update comes with a new bar for notifications, more home screen modes and better performance, along with a nifty pop out video player. These of course aren’t Jelly Bean features but have come along for the ride. We hope to find more features Samsung has thrown on with the Jelly Bean update soon.
