The Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy S3 is continuing its world tour. Earlier making its mark in parts of Europe, it is now hitting Asia.
Samsung Galaxy S3 Jelly Bean update available in Korean now
It’s already out in Korea as of this week, via KIES and OTA, and will be widespread throughout the region over the next few days. Jelly Bean brings loads of new features to the Samsung Galaxy S3, and it makes apps open up to 40% quicker. It gives a responsive UI and also offers voice typing even when offline. It gives better notifications and also gives users Google Now.
If you’ve got a Samsung Galaxy S3 and are in the region, you can see if the update is ready for you by going into Settings>About Phone>Software Updates. You can also sync the phone to your computer and update it like that.
On a side note, The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 hit the shops this week, preloaded with Jelly Bean, so Samsung is all ready to go with the latest Android OS taking the phablet and the recently announced Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini into account
