If you are hoping to get your hands on the Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE version of the handset, which was seen at the recent IFA event, you will soon be able to get it with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean preloaded reports GForGames. If you happen to live in Singapore you will be able to snap up the device towards the end of September i.e. sometime this week.
New Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE coming with Jelly Bean update preloaded
Last week Samsung released the Jelly Bean kernel source for the Galaxy S3. This gave proof that the LTE version will have Android 4.1 and the Jelly Bean update wouldv be making its way to other variants very soon. We just didn’t expect it to happen so fast.
The Singapore version of the Samsung Galaxy S3 comes with the Exynos quad core processor and 2GB of RAM, a powerful combination. To date we’ve seen numerous Samsung Galaxy S3 color options announced in addition to the pebble blue and marble white. This includes titanium gray, amber brown, sapphire black and even a garnet red. There are also talks of a pink version coming.
Unfortunately there is no confirmed date for when Android 4.1 Jelly Bean rolls out to the 4 US variants of the Samsung Galaxy S3 (Verizon, Sprint, AT&T and T-Mobile).
