Samsung Galaxy S3 Android 4.2 Update Runs Buttery Smooth Thank To LiquidSmooth

If you were the owner of the Samsung Galaxy S3 then you would have felt like you had been waiting for ever to get the update to Jelly Bean 4.1. The update has arrived at last, however there is now a new update by way of Android Jelly Bean 4.2, and so the wait begins again.

It will take a long time for the update to come to handsets of owners in the US, but if you don’t want to wait you could try a customised ROM.

One of these is LiquidSmooth, based on Android 4.2 and it brings all the features of the latest update to the Samsung Galaxy S3. This includes lock screen sliders, boost to speed, buttons, software and hardware keys, with all of these being customisable. There are also notification power widgets, navigation bar widgets, a navbar ring and transparent status bar and navbar. Along with this the battery light and notification bar can also be customised.

Another feature of the ROM which is interesting is the Chronus clock widget, along with the customisable settings for the panel. On the downside is the fact that this ROM only works if you have the Cricket version of the Samsung Galaxy S3, for now.
