Samsung have done very well for themselves and have sold millions of phones around the world, plus some of their older handsets offer a great deal even in today’s smartphone market. There has been rumours going around that some of the older handsets are about to get updates to the latest version of Android and today we have heard great news about the update to Jelly Bean from the Samsung Galaxy S2, the Samsung Galaxy Note and the Ace 2, plus more.
It was just a week ago when we found that Jelly Bean 4.1.2 would be making its way to the Samsung Galaxy S2. This was when Samsung made changes to their online manual for the Samsung Galaxy Note so as to include new firmware information.
Now more information has come to light thanks to Samsung Ukraine as they have provided news about the update to Jelly Bean for the two handsets, and the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2. Over on the website it says that the Samsung Galaxy S2 will be getting updated on 3rd March to Jelly Bean 4.1.1.
The Samsung Galaxy Note will also get updated on 1st March.
Residents of the US are keeping their fingers crossed that they will get updated sooner as they have seen manual changes too for their handset.
