The Samsung Galaxy Note 2, even though it’s part of the Galaxy series, has some features that you don’t see on its stablemates. Samsung Galaxy S2 Jelly Bean update linked with mult-windows capability

Samsung only got Jelly Bean out to the Samsung Galaxy S3 recently, with Verizon finally getting in on the act. The Galaxy S2 is still waiting, and may be for a couple of weeks/months yet.

This update will mean Multi-View to these devices, letting two apps run side-by-side on screen, as well as letting users rezise the screens independently of each other. The Galaxy Note 2 has been hailed as the ultimate multi-tasking device, and its chums, including the older ones, could follow suit.

Samsung is also getting a new Gallery app to the Galaxy S3, the Galaxy S2 and the original Note hailing the Note 2. These phones will also get a Swype-like keyboard and Smart Rotation.
