Samsung Galaxy S2 Jelly Bean update rolls out starting next month

Samsung has announced that the Galaxy S2 Jelly Bean update will roll out starting February. The first stop – Singapore. As for when other Samsung Galaxy S2 units will get the Jelly Bean update is unknown.

Now Android updates and the Samsung Galaxy S2 are a very sensitive subject matter. Ever since the whole Samsung Galaxy S2 Android Ice Cream Sandwich controversy over a year ago in the US, Samsung has tried hard to clean its name up.

Being associated with having a terrible track record with updates just be of the Samsung Galaxy S2 has had the company roll out updates quicker than ever on their newer devices like the Samsung Galaxy S3.

Given that a lot of the current Samsung Galaxy S2 owners have already been through hell with ICS a while back, Samsung better not dilly-dally with Jelly Bean, especially here in the US on Verizon, AT&T, Sprint & T-Mobile.
