Google are about to get ready to bring out the next update to their OS, Android 4.2. That is the general consensus regarding the upcoming Google event next week.

Samsung Galaxy Note Jelly Bean update leaked

However many users of Android are still hanging around waiting for the update to Jelly Bean Android 4.1.1. The good news is that if you are an owner of the Samsung Galaxy Note, a leaked version of Android 4.1.1 has been seen online.

Now this is no frankenstein Jelly Bean ROM that has been pieced together from other ROMs. This is an official leaked build of Android 4.1.1 for the Samsung Galaxy Note.

One thing to keep in mind is that the leak could be an early build and therefore you could be taking a risk by flashing it. However the brave out there may wish to check it out at XDA.

Samsung said that they are currently working on the update to Jelly Bean for owners of the Samsung Galaxy Note, however at the moment they haven’t given out any specifics. The device comes out of the box with ICS while its successor, the Note 2, has Jelly Bean already.

Samsung Sweden meanwhile has more promising news as they gave out a time frame for the update for the Samsung Galaxy Note. They said that owners of the device would start to get the update in November and that the Galaxy Note 10.1 would also get the update to Jelly bean during Q4 too. If this is true then the final build may just be around the corner.
