A road map gave us a hint that we could see several Samsung Galaxy devices making their way out this year, however right now it is one device has been confirmed for being revealed at the MWC in 2013 and this is the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0
Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 rumors
So what might we expect from the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0? Well the device will be a tablet that comes with a quad core processor of 1.6GHz, accompanied by 2GB of RAM, a display of 1280 x 800 resolution and 16GB of storage internally. So are you feeling a sense that you have heard this somewhere before? You would be right as these are the specs of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 apart for the size of the display, lack of phone calling capability and the 5 megapixel rear camera as opposed to the 8 megapixel.
So it seems that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 could be nothing more than a giant Samsung Galaxy Note 2, which is in fact a giant already. This does seem odd as Samsung did mock Apple years ago for bringing out the Apple iPad, when they said that it was nothing more than a large iPhone.
A photo of the upcoming tablet has been leaked online and gives us an idea of what the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 could look like and it seems to be the same as the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (see below). It is thought that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 will compete with the Apple iPad Mini, Nexus 7 and Amazon Kindle Fire HD in 2013.
