Samsung Galaxy Note 7: What Happens To Second-Hand Units?

By  |

Owners who bought the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 have been given the choice of getting a refund or swapping the device for another make and model. But what if you bought the handset second hand?

Well it seems that if you bought a used version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 you can still exchange the handset. What is even better is that you don’t have to get in touch with the original owner of the device first.

Samsung gave out a number, 1-844-265-619, that owners of a second hand Samsung Galaxy Note 7 can call. They can then send the device back to Samsung and get a new replacement of the Samsung Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge.

Of course the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has a display of 5.7 inches so this means that many will go for the replacement Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, which offers a display of 5.5 inches, instead of the 5.2 inches on the S7.

So have you bought a second hand version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and was wondering what to do with the expensive brick you have been left holding?
