The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is getting put to shame by the LG G3 as it has been left with Android Marshmallow, while the G3, which came out the same year, is getting updated to Android 7.0 Nougat.

Both the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the LG G3 arrived on the market in 2014 but the G3 has since been given many updated, including 5.0, 5.1 and 6.0. Now the two year old handset is going to be given the update to Android 7.0 Nougat as we have seen the device is benchmarking.

The LG G4 and LG G5 should also be getting updated and of course the recently launched LG V20 arrived with Nougat out of the box. The single core score came in at 929 and the mutilcore score managed 2977.

The LG G3 offers the quad core 2.46GHz Snapdragon 801 SoC processor, which also arrived on a number of competitors phones in 2014 and at that time it was classed as the bees knees.

So do you own the LG G3 and are you looking to snub your friends who own the Samsung Galaxy Note 4?
