Although the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has not officially been announced yet, people are already anticipating its release date, and most believed it to be in October 2012. However, UnwiredView has said that the launch could be even sooner than expected – exciting news all round!
Samsung Galaxy Note 2 may land in September to avoid iPhone 5
The phablet device is now believed to potentially be released in September. The reason for this has been speculated as being so that it comes out prior to the iPhone 5, which would be a main competitor for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 in the fall. We can already see the Samsung Galaxy S3 in US stores early despite its predecessor (the S2) only hitting carriers late last year around the time of the iPhone 4S launch (fall).
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 leaks have indicated that it will have some major upgrades over its predecessor. These include a 5.5 inch, 1680 x 1050 pixel resolution display, 1.5GB RAM, a dual-core Exynos 5250 processor, an 8MP rear-facing camera, LTE connectivity, and a very similar aesthetic to the Samsung Galaxy S3 – the design of which was based on nature.
With the current Samsung Galaxy Note still selling strong and rumored to land on T-Mobile next, there are high hopes for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
