The release date for the Android based Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is a hot topic recently after Reuters reported that Samsung informed them of its imminent launch at the IFA 2012 Unpacked event at the end of this month. The device is thought to be arriving sometime late in August on the T-Mobile network.
Samsung Galaxy Note 2 to rival iPhone 5 this fall?
However, there have been rumors of other Android phone manufacturers trying to outdo the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, before it is even launched.
Should rumors of the August date be true, we should expect to see the device launch just after its preview, in September. This means that the handset would be on sale around the time that Apple is expected to release its iPhone 5.
So how does the second generation Galaxy Note compare to all of the other handsets currently on the market? It is thought that the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 may have a 5.5 inch screen, at least according to GforGames. The processor may be improved along with improvements to the camera. A better camera and processor along with larger screen are sure to make an impression.
The two giants, Apple and Samsung, are still at logger heads in court over issues related to patents, which everyone is waiting to hear the outcome of. We will soon see this battle escalate with the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and iPhone 5.
