By  |

you can get hold of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is a range of colours. However Samsung have not finished releasing colours yet and they have released a new shade in time for Valentine ’s Day and its pearly pink.

Of course this hasn’t come as any big surprise as other devices of theirs have been made available in pink. Last March we saw the hot pink first gen Samsung Galaxy Note in Germany and then a light pink in Korea in September.

Samsung have not made any announcements about the pink version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 however it is on their website. The page doesn’t say when the handset will be available, so for now we will just have to wait and see.

Samsung offered the phablet in marble white, pebble blue and titanium grey when it was launched, however the colours were expanded to include ruby wine and amber brown.

There have been rumours about new colours for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 since the end of 2012, however this may not be the only colour to come out. In December a photo leaked of the black version. It is thought that Samsung might reveal this at the MWC along with a blue version. It is also thought that there could be new colours coming for the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini.

The pink Samsung Galaxy Note 2 photos on the Taiwan website are different from the original version of the device. This may mean that they plan on releasing any hybrid in a different colour. The original Samsung Galaxy Note came in a deeper and louder colour pink. This handset could be restricted to carriers or regions on launch, the red version of the handset was for AT&T only when launched.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 was revealed in the second half of 2012 and it has been popular. The original version came out in 2011 and sold around 5 million units during the first 5 months of it being out. The successor sold twice this amount and in half the time.

The Note 2 comes with a display of 5.5 inches and is larger than its predecessor, which has a display of 5.3 inches. The device looks a lot like the Samsung Galaxy S3 which has also been popular. It also includes the S Pen stylus.

Samsung have packed their flagship device with many multi-tasking features, such as Air Play, which provides information by holding the pen over the display. Some of the best additions are included in Jelly Bean 4.1.2 which is customised with the Premium Suite of Samsung.
