Rumors are going around that the follow up to the original Galaxy Note, the Note 2, will make use of the AMOLED flexible screen reports IntoMobile. According to Korea IT Times this is the technology that Samsung showed off at CES 2012.

It is also thought that Samsung will use the technology called unbreakable plane. One of the benefits to this would be to add space in the device, which would probably come in handy for a larger battery. If these rumors play out, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 could have a very tough display of 5.5 inches with a ratio of 16:9 and around 350ppi.
Samsung Pakistan has posted a photo on their Facebook page which has gained a lot of interest. They claimed that it was the Galaxy S3, but the display on the handset was too big for it to have been this device. This was taken down and replaced with the same photo claiming to be the Note, and then this was taken down too. Whether this photo was actually the Note 2 is anyone’s guess but we will have to wait until 29th August to find out.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is also rumored to pack a quad-core processor just like the S3 but clocked at a higher speed, a 13-megapixel rear camera, more apps to support the stylus, thinner bezel and come preloaded with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. We’ll keep you posted as more develops.
