The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Android 4.1.2 update has started rolling out to those with the international version of the handset and it brings with it plenty of new features.

The update has started to roll out in Poland and Sweden at the moment. The international version has the numbers GT-N7100 and the LTE version is GT-N7105. At the moment the updates are limited to these regions, however they will spread out in the near future to other Samsung Galaxy Note 2 users.

The update will come with plenty of new features, mainly which focus on TouchWiz, though there are some other things.

The notifications are customisable now and owners are able to alter this to how they want it. Features can be toggled in the menu and the device will have Multi-window view. Users will also be able to disable the slider for the brightness if they wish, through the notification menu.

The status bar has been changed from grey to black and the browser has been improved, and the device comes with a keyboard that is very similar to Swype. The lock screen also has a new ink effect.

Of course while this isn’t a drastic update, it does bring some great features hence you may wish to install it as soon as you can.

At the moment there is no word on when the update will be available for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 on AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile or US Cellular and users will be lucky to get it on these carriers before 2013.
