It seems that Google has work to do on their new Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update. The OS was launched on the LG Nexus 4 recently, and now owners of the Google Nexus 7 and some Galaxy Nexus users have also been downloading the update to their handset.

Android 4.2 Jelly Bean bugs plague Samsung Galaxy Nexus & Nexus 7

There were problems reported over the weekend by users of the Nexus 7 and it seems that the bugs are catching on now, as problems are arising on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus too.

One of the bugs was the missing month of December; this was seen on the Nexus’ in the contact list app for organizing birthdays. This problem was seen by everyone as opposed to just the minority and it included both the Nexus 7 and the Samsung Galaxy Nexus.

This is not the only issue that Google needs to iron out as other issues have been reported by AndroidPolice. This includes one very annoying bug to do with the auto-brightness of the device. This seems to be worst on the Nexus 7.

Bluetooth is also causing an issue on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and some users have been experiencing reboots of their device, which appears to be random. All of these issues have been reported after making the update to Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Google are going to have their hands full solving these issues so as to assure their customers are happy.
