AllAboutSamsung gave us the news of the leaked specs of the new Galaxy Nexus GT-i9260 a.k.a Nexus 2 along with a photo of the handset.

The camera on the front of the handset will be HD and 1.9 megapixels. This would put in in line with the camera of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and the Samsung Galaxy S3. The Galaxy Nexus 2 will keep the same 4.65 inches HD Super AMOLED display but underneath pack a dual core processor of 1.5GHz. It is thought that internal storage will be 16GB and there will be SD card support for expansion.

The Samsung Galaxy Nexus 2 should come with Jelly Bean as of course other Nexus devices are already running the latest OS.

DroidLife said they had seen a listing for the device at Carphone Warehouse, which showed the Nexus 2 name and more than likely the device will be called the Samsung Galaxy Nexus 2. The same listing also showed a 32GB Google Nexus 7 tablet was on its way. it is thought that the Nexus 2 will begin shipping in time for the holidays.
