No, we still won’t see the game on our smartphone but the game will go mobile thanks to Nintendo Switch.

It was announced this week that Psyonix is developing Rocket League for Nintendo Switch. Like the standard version, the Rocket League for Nintendo Switch will also come with online play and all the standard features but on top of that, players will get to play with their friends locally thanks to the wireless multiplayer system.

Friends can come together and join the game without having to go online. Rocket League on Switch will also allow players to cross-platform play with PC players.

According to Psyonix, the game will be arriving this fall but they are not ready to give us an actual date yet. With games like this, the Nintendo Switch should continue to pick up speed.

What other games are you hoping to see on the Nintendo Switch?
