Renault, Nissan, and Daimler all came together to work on a new petrol engine and the Renault Scenic will be one of the lucky models to get picked to try on the new engine.
According to the reports, customers in Britain will be able to order the 2018 Renault Scenic with the new petrol engine start on the 1st of January next year. The engine will come with two output options.
The first option will be the 113hp engine that will be offering about 162lb ft of torque while the second output option will be the 138hp model with 177lb ft of torque. The 1.3-liter petrol engine will be mated to a manual transmission or an EDC dual clutch transmission depending on which trim you end up getting.
Besides the Renault Scenic, the Renault Grand Scenic will also be offered the same engine options. We should also see more of the engine in the other Renault, Nissan, Mitsubishi and Daimler models in the near future.
