When the Red Dead Redemption suddenly appeared on Xbox One through backwards compatibility out of nowhere, fans were shocked as it clearly meant good news. Now they are back to their worrying state again, since Microsoft has locked the game again by requiring a mandatory update that you can’t actually download.
So, they gave us hope then got us tumbling down after that. What’s the point in making the fans happy only to bring them feeling like they would be better off without the game? It’s not a love game here, really. In fact, many were actually surprised and confused as to why the game has suddenly been taken down just like that.
Thankfully, there were some reports made by Microsoft’s Larry Hryb, stating that the games were suddenly made available due to the tests conducted on their Xbox 360 games with their emulator in ensuring maximization of gaming experience for the fans. At least he gave an apology too after that. But then again, we think the fans would rather have them not remove access to the game after all.
