Skyrim Dragonborn PS3 DLC May Not Be Released This Month (Prediction)

The Skyrim Dragonborn DLC is the latest DLC pack from Bethesda for the popular game and as of now it has only been made available for the Xbox 360.

PS3 Skyrim Dragonborn release date predictions

As you would have seen from our Dragonborn DLC review a few weeks ago, this is one solid expansion and PS3 fans will be happy to see that it will arrive first ahead of Dawnguard and Hearthfire. Of course, the big question is when?

Bethesda themselves confirmed that they had worked out the the DLC issues and would be releasing Dragonborn to the PS3 first because it was the easiest of DLCs to release to the Sony platform.  They said that PS3 fans could expect it “early next year”.

Now this led many fans to think it would be January 2013, which it now officially is already. We’ve seen Dawnguard and Hearthfire hit the bargain bin for Xbox 360 fans already, and there are now rumors of two more DLCs coming our way before there could be a new Skyrim game. So really, Bethesda is keeping busy.

We saw Bethesda announce the release of the Dragonborn DLC a full month in advance for the Xbox 360 even though they really didn’t have to as fans were happy they were ahead with DLC packs compared to other platforms. So this has me thinking that Bethesda isn’t going to release the Dragonborn DLC for PS3 this month after all. If they were, we would already have been given a date sometime around Christmas. With how peeved PS3 gamers are already with lack of any Skyrim DLC, we doubt Bethesda would have delayed the announcement of a Dragonborn release date unless they really were more than month off.

This is just my two cents of course and I would like to be proven wrong. Personally, I am now looking at February before Dragonborn is released to PS3 and PC fans.
