We’re not sure what to make of Bitbag’s Skyrim post from earlier today. According to the popular gaming blog, Bethesda may be having some issues with the Skyrim DLC for the PS3 i.e. Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn.
Bitbag delivers troubling news for PS3 Skyrim fans awaiting Dawnguard DLC
While we already heard confirmation from the official Playstation blog that the three Skyrim DLC would be making their way to the PS3 next month, Bitbag is talking about RAM issues today morning.
The blog goes on to point out that rumors of a Thalmor related DLC may be the next step for Bethesda as they may focus on this and cut their losses with the current 3 DLCs which they are having issues with for the PS3.
We’re not sure if BB’s intel is outdated or wrong but we haven’t heard anything regarding this from Pete Hines yet. We’ll keep you posted as more develops.
If there should be a new DLC it would perhaps be Thalmor as a fight with them is likely and releasing a DLC based on this would make sense. It could be that Bethesda may reverse the Skyrim Dawnguard fiasco and release a new DLC for the PS3 first. This could be a better option for the company as they would be able to work from scratch.
Bethesda will not want to do anything without including the PS3 and hopefully there won’t be any delays like there have been for Skyrim Dawnguard for the PS3. Check out their full post here.
