The new DLC for Skyrim, Dawnguard, is great as Xbox 360 players will tell you (smugly). Product-Reviews reports that some gamers have already done this after waiting for months for new DLC to show up.
No Skyrim Dawnguard and possibly Dragonborn for PS3 may cause mutiny
You might just up and trade in your PS3 for an Xbox 360 in a fit of pique – some people have already done this, just so they can play Dawnguard and Dragonborn.
I have a PS3, I want Dawnguard and I’m hanging on to my console, as it’ll come out eventually. There’s been some confirmation of some new PS3 content, but no-one as yet knows if it’s Hearthfire, Dawnguard, Dragonborn or something else.
Some people reckon that this delay is caused by the lack of RAM on the PS3, but this is not the case, so don’t worry about hardware limitations, as other games have worked well with the existing RAM. Bethesda’s history with bringing new content to the PS3 hasn’t been that great historically, and it seems that the company prioritises the Xbox 360.
Pete Hines Tweeted that he needs to check if any Skyrim DLC is coming to the PS3, so it seems that he needs permission before he can reveal anything. Will you sack your PS3 off for an Xbox 360 because of one game?
