Porsche Refuses To Rule Out Panamera Coupe

By  |

There is a rumor going around that Porsche may be about to build a successor to the Panamera 928 coupe. At this time it is nothing more than just a rumor but at least Porsche hasn’t ruled it out.

Some months back Porsche launched a shortened test mule of the Porsche Panamera and it was caught in spy photos. Reports have said that it wasn’t a Panamera based front engine coupe and it wasn’t a small sedan either. It was said that it may be a test for the new twin-turbo 4 litre V8 as Porsche was appointed to come up with development for the Volkswagen Group MSB architecture.

When interviewed though a member of the executive board for Porsche said that making a Porsche coupe wouldn’t be such a bad thing and went on to say that they did have the capabilities to make such a vehicle.

Of course whether we would see a Panamera Coupe come our way depends on whether there are any better ideas, such as the Panamera Sport Turismo.
