Porsche Mission E Leaves 911 Turbo Eating Its Dust

By  |

Porsche is not going to give up on pursuing Tesla with electric vehicles, as other carmakers have done. The Porsche Mission E is going to begin production at the beginning of the next decade and it isn’t just going to be an alternative to the Tesla Model S that offers good looks.

The hybrid version of the Porsche Panamera hands out 680 horses, so it isn’t that far-fetched to think that the Mission E could compete with vehicles from Tesla when it comes to performance. Porsche is now thinking over the idea to allow buyers to pay out more to unlock even more power than the Mission E by way of over theair updates.

The potent Porsche Mission E may not have what it takes to beat the Porsche Panamera hybrid when it comes to power and it could beat the Porsche 911 Turbo and its 540 horses, with more than 590 horsepower. This should mean that the all-electric vehicle might be able to reach 60mph in under 3.5 seconds.

There is even more good news as the Porsche Mission E will come in cheaper than the Porsche Panamera and this will make it easier for consumers to go with the eco-friendly performance without having to spend a small fortune.
