Pokemon Sun And Moon Size Gone Too Far For Nintendo 3DS

By  |

If you are a fan of Pokemon and you want to download Pokemon Sun and Moon onto your Nintendo 3DS you might think that the developer has gone too far when it comes to size.

This is thanks to the fact that Pokemon Sun And Moon is going to take up most of the SD card that came with your console. Each comes in at 3.2GB while the stock SD card is only 4GB in size. This means that while the game will fit onto the card, you will get very little else on it. It also means that if you want both games they are not going to fit onto the card.

Nintendo said that anyone who downloaded the game will not be able to transfer the data that was saved from the game demo to the one that they purchase. This is due to the SD card not offering the space for both the demo and the full version.

Pokemon Sun and Moon uses more space on the card than what Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire did as they were 1.8GB in size.

Perhaps Pokemon Sun and Moon has gone a bit too far for size as the game only just fits on the standard SD card, so it looks like you will have to buy a replacement bigger one.
