Pokemon Sun And Moon: Have They Gone Too Far For Nintendo 3DS

By  |

If you have the Nintendo 3DS and are thinking about buying Pokemon Sun and Moon you are going to need to buy a new SD card. This is due to the fact that Nintendo may have just gone too far.

This is due to the fact that the download for Pokemon Sun and Moon takes up too much room on the SD card that comes with the console. Each of the downloads takes up 3.2GB, which would mean there would be very little space left on the card for any other game. You wouldn’t be able to put both the downloads onto the same card.

Nintendo also said that anyone who downloaded the demo versions of the games will not be able to move the data onto the Pokemon Sun and Mood game. This is thanks to the fact that there isn’t enough space on the SD card that comes with the Nintendo 3DS to fit both the demo and the full game.

Pokemon Sun and Moon uses more space than Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, each of which came in at 1.8GB.

So do you think that Pokemon Sun and Moon may have gone a step too far for the SD card that came with the Nintendo 3DS?

If you digitally download your games, you’ve long since upgraded your card. If you don’t, then just buy the cartridge and don’t worry about how much space it takes. This is a non-issue.

That’s why I’ll be buying the game card, if I get it…Not the digital download.

Buy a physical copy if it’s an issue. They’re the same price as a digital download.

First of all, you don’t have to download the game. There are physical copies for a reason! Second of all, get a large enough sd card and you could transfer data between the demo and th full version. Plus based on what you said about the size of the card, that only applies to the New 3DS. If you have the original one then it’s only a 2 GB card. You wouldn’t be able to get the full version anyway via download.
