Pokemon Sun and Moon: Has It Gone A Bit Too Over The Top?

By  |

Anyone who wants to download a copy of the Nintendo 3DS Pokemon Sun and Moon game will need to go out and buy themselves a new SD card. But has the developer of the game gone a bit over the top?

Pokemon Sun and Moon downloads are too big for the standard SD card that comes with the Nintendo 3DS. The download for each is 3.2GB and the card that comes with the console is only 4GB. This means if you download the game onto the SD card you will have very little room for any other game.

Nintendo also said that anyone who has played the demo version cannot move any data that had been saved onto the Pokemon Sun and Moon game that you buy. This is due to the fact that there wouldn’t be enough room on the SD card for both the demo version and the full version of the game.

Pokemon Sun and Moon will use up the majority of your SD card and it does use more than Pokemon Omega Ruby along with Alpha Sapphire, each of which were 1.8GB.

So you do have to wonder whether Pokemon Sun and Moon has gone just that bit too far this time around as they barely fit onto the standard SD card, forcing gamers to go out and buy another.
