While the Pokemon Go players have significant drop since the app was released last year, Niantics continues to host various events to keep things fresh for their fans. With the app approaching its first anniversary, here are some of the events that we can expect from the Pokemon Go app.
The first event will be the Solstice in-game event where Pokemon Trainers will get a chance to catch as many fire type and Ice Type Pokemon as they can. Pokemon like Lapras, Sneasel, Houndour, Cyndaquil, Charmander and more will appear more frequently from the 13th of June until the 20th of June.
Niantic is also stepping things up wth a live event. The Pokemon Go Fest will be happening in Chicago on the 22nd of July. According to Niantics, fans will get to participate in a variety of activities although they did not reveal what. Tickets will go on sale on the 19th of June.
A few other countries in Europe will also get events of their own from June to Septemeber. As for Japan, there is going to be a Pikachu Outbreak event happening in Yokohama.
