Playstation VR: Road Ahead Looking Bleak With New Cancellation

By  |

One of the reasons why some people were interested in the PlayStation VR headset was the promise that some games were going to come with some interesting VR features. One of the games that were supposed to get a special VR model was Final Fantasy XV but Square Enix has just delivered the worst news possible.

According to Square Enix, the VR mode where players will get to shoot down monsters and teleporting around in the Final Fantasy XV universe will not be happening as they decided to cancel it.

The DLC announced at E3 2016. Square Enix added that after working on Monster of the Deep, they realize that the system would not be powerful enough to handle what they have in mind and at the end of the day, they decided not to go ahead with their plan.

This is going to be a huge blow to those that purchase the PSVR as this was one of the highlights for the headset.

A bit dramatic? There are MANY great games coming out. SKYRIM?

Why are so many wishing for the demise of PSVR when it is flourishing?

VR is the future of gaming.
