The Honda Pilot CR-V is the inspiration for the 2017 Honda Odyssey and so we can expect to see the vehicle offering up the same technology and this may include Apple CarPlay along with Android Auto.
You can get Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on the EX and above trims on the Honda Pilot, so there isn’t any reason why the tech shouldn’t be available on the 2017 Honda Odyssey. The technology allows the drivers to use their phone so that they can use Google Maps, listen to music and make hands free calls and send texts.
The Honda CR-V cabin was also redesigned and it came with premium trim and the same could apply to the 2017 Honda Odyssey. Some people asked for Honda to bring back the physical volume knob too and this is something that they did with the new Honda Pilot and the same could apply to the Odyssey.
We are also expecting to see the 2017 Honda Odyssey arrive in hybrid format and if so this vehicle would compete with the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid.
