There are many fans who love the horror genre and who play Resident Evil 7 just to be scared out of their minds. It is these gamers that Outlast 2 is going to appeal to and they will be getting very excited as Red Barels is getting ready to launch the sequel to the hit game Outlast, which arrived in 2013.
Red Barrels took to Twitter to reveal that Outlast 2 is going to be launched on 25 April on the PC, Xbox One and PS4. They also said that a collection of the game series is going to include three games, the original Outlast, Outlast: Whistleblower expansion and Outlast 2.
Outlast 2 is said to be a must for lovers of horror games and gamers will walk in the shoes of Blake Langemann. He along with his wife are investigative journalists and they are working on the murder of a pregnant women. Some of the game is going to be set in open fields in Arizona, so we expect that it isn’t going to be as claustrophobic.
It does looks as though Outlast 2 is going to come with most of the features that were in the original game and it will be first perspective. We also know that once again many of the areas you explore are going to be very dark and gloomy, so expect plenty of atmosphere.
