Earlier rumor suggests that OnePlus might be working on a new mid-range smartphone that will be called the OnePlus X2 the successor to the OnePlus X device that OnePlus released back in 2015.

As exciting as it sounds, OnePlus has come out to deny that they are working on a mid-range phone right now. Carl Pei, the co-founder of OnePlus responded on Twitter after the news was reported by GSMArena. His simple “Nope” was more than enough to kill off the rumor.

Fans are still hoping that OnePlus would one day release a new mid-range phone as the only smartphone that OnePlus is offering right now is too expensive for many of the fans. Speaking of the OnePlus 6, OnePlus did confirm that the device will be arriving by June and that the device will be running on the Snapdragon 845 and with dual camera in the back. It is also believed that this device might end up on US carriers lineup but we will have to wait and see.
