With all the talks about the OnePlus 5 coming in with specs that match the Samsung Galaxy S8 as well as the additional dual camera features, everybody thought that the OnePlus 5 was going to be the one that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will need to watch out for but now that we know what the device will be offering, we think Samsung can relax for now.

While it is clear that OnePlus did a great job with the device, it needs more than a good design and dual camera to beat the Samsung Galaxy S8. The biggest difference is the missing edge to edge display.

Other features that were missing includes the wireless charging, the Iris scanner and facial recognition feature, expandable storage, water and dust proofing and more. While all these are additional features that won’t really make or break a device, it is clear that Samsung is one step ahead of the OnePlus 5 when it comes to enhancement.

However, with OnePlus 5 is still cheaper than the Galaxy S8 so that should help.

I don’t remember who posted the video showing on-time when touching the fingerprint sensor (OP5 ve S8). The OP5 was instant, and the S8 missed a step while asking itself what to do.
It’s a genius business model to refocus to what the customer wants the most (phone speed closer to what a busy brain craves).
