Soon after the release of the new OnePlus 5 smartphone, some users reported that their device will crash whenever they tried to dial the emergency number in their country like 999 or 911.

Although it sounds like a small bug, not being able to dial those emergency number when in need could be extremely dangerous for the users. Luckily, OnePlus recognises how important the fix is and has now released the update for their OnePlus 5 users.

The update is now online so those users can update their device. Overall, we were pretty impressed by how fast OnePlus reacted to it all. HOwever, that does not mean that the OnePlus 5 is perfect now. There were still a few other issues that users are still waiting to get fixed.

The OnePlus 5 comes in with a 5.5-inch display screen with 1080 x 1920 resolution. The device will run on a Snapdragon 835 processor with 8GB RAM and will be fitted with a 16MP rear camera.
