OnePlus 3 Forces Buyers To Spend More
Anyone wanting to get hold of the OnePlus 3 in the US and Europe but who have waited for the price to drop down have been disappointed as the handset has now been discontinued. This means that the they are left having to consider the OnePlus 3T and this means that it will cost them $40 more.
The OnePlus 3 isn’t a major update over the discontinued OnePlus 3; it’s more along a refresh. However it has given the company a way of boosting up the price.
The OnePlus 3T does offer a processor that has been upgraded, the camera has been improved on the front, the battery is larger and there is a 128GB storage option.
If you want the 64GB version of the OnePlus 3T it is going to cost you $40 more than in you had gone for the OnePlus 3 as it comes in at $439.
It would perhaps have been a better idea for the phonemaker to continue offering the OnePlus 3 with a reduction in price, alongside the newer OnePlus 3T, for those who don’t have the money to pay out for the newer version.
