Nokia Lumia 920: Display, Camera & Design Unrivalled

By  |

The Nokia Lumia 920 camera was tested in low light conditions by Engadget recently, taking photos of a scene that was static at just 5 lux. The Lumia 920 sailed through the test with no problem, while the iPhone 5 didn’t do so well and neither did the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the HTC One X. The Nokia 808 Pureview however performed quite well too.

Nokia Lumia 920 wins with design, camera & display

Capturing sharp details in low light is very hard to do without noise. The Lumia 920 actually had no problem with this. Even when taking photos in a scene that was really too dark for most eyes to make out any detail, the camera excelled.

The camera test was made fair by setting all of the phones on auto mode and holding the devices very still. All in all the Nokia Lumia 920 gave even exposures out of all of the phones that were tested.

So it looks like we’ve only been singing praises about the Nokia Lumia 920 this week. We recently reported how it had the best display technology, blowing the iPhone 5 away despite Apple’s Schiller saying otherwise. And lastly let’s not forget the actual design of the Nokia Lumia 920 which dare we say it looks better than any other smartphone on the market right now.
