After years of waiting, it has finally been announced that the next-gen Nissan Leaf will be arriving soon. Just when we all though that everything is going to go great for Nissan and their Nissan Leaf once more, new reports by Bloomberg suggest that that is not the case.

According to Bloomberg, Nissan is looking to sell their AESC share to a Chinese venture capital firm. Not only will Nissan sell off the share of their battery making company but they might be in talks to sell their US and UK manufacturing facilities as well.

While some people think that this might be the end for Nissan and their Nissan journey, others think that it is not. It is said that Nissan might source some batteries from AESC or maybe buy the battery from some other supplier like LG Chem.

How do you think this will affect the Nissan Leaf?
