With the Nintendo Switch controllers being so portable and small, it is easy to misplace them and there is nothing more frustrating than trying to find them when you want to play. That is why Nintendo came out with a solution to help players locate their missing controllers faster.
Nintendo just released the Version 3.0.0 firmware for Nintendo Switch which will come with a controller finding feature. So how does the Switch search for its controller? Well, it will activate the vibration features so that the user can listen and determine where the vibration is coming from.
Of course, it can only do that if the controllers are within the range of the console. If it is out of it, the console can’t get it to vibrate so you are on your own.
The controllers also need to be paired to the console. While this is not perfect, it is still better than nothing.
