One owner of the Google Nexus 6P loved everything about his handset until he received the update to Android 7.1.1 Nougat. After the update things took a drastic turn for the worse.
He said that when he updated the Nexus 6P to Android 7.1.1 his device got stuck in the dreaded bootloop that has affected some of the devices. He thought that if he downgraded then the issue would be solved, but this wasn’t so. He even tried putting on different versions of the OS and it was still stuck in the bootloop. Now he has what he says is a bricked device.
The issue with the bootloop seems to affect just a small number of handsets and it seems that due to this Google are not rushing to find a fix for it, leaving the Nexus 6P an endangered handset as it is now getting old.
The owner of the Nexus 6P said that his handset is under a year old but with cosmetic damage to it, he cannot get the device replaced. But do you think that Google should replace it regardless of the cosmetic damage?
