Before the release of the LG Nexus 4 there were rumours that Google would partner with more than one phone maker to release Nexus devices.
Could a Nexus 5 be based on the Sony Xperia Z
Speculation was that LG, Sony and Motorola would all release Nexus handsets. The Motorola device is thought to be the handset that has been called the X. Everyone was interested to see the announcement of the Sony Xperia Z and this could well be the base for a Nexus handset that may come out later in the year if rumors of the Nexus Partner program prove true.
The Sony Xperia Z is a sexy looking device running Android, with a 13 megapixel camera, along with the Snapdragon S4 1.5GHz quad core processor, battery of 2700mAh, while running Jelly Bean 4.1.
So just what might the Sony Nexus 5 look like if the base of it was the Sony Xperia Z? Well the device will retain the same specs as the current Xperia Z and the “5” could stand for a bunch of things: It would be the 5th Nexus device, it would run Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie and it would have a 5″ 1080p display. A Reddit user has shown us what the styling of the handset may look like and you may wish to check out the picture as it looks stunning in my opinion.
