James Bond’s Next Phone Is Android & It’s AT&T Bound

By  |

The long awaited and perhaps second last James Bond movie with Daniel Craig is coming our very soon. The movie will do for Android what it did for Aston Martin thanks to Sony having the right to say that James Bond chose their Android handset, the Sony Xperia TL. However don’t expect the handset to come with the cool gadgets that are found in the Aston Martin cars that have been souped-up James Bond style.

Sony Xperia TL Android: Next James Bond phone

The Sony Xperia TL is a 4.6 inch handset that comes with LTE on the AT&T network. The display is 720p HD Reality and it is backed up by the Mobile Bravia engine. On the back is a 13 megapixel camera, which will go from sleeping to taking a photo very fast (instant on). The device is powered by a Snapdragon S4 1.5GHz processor and at the moment there is no indication of the price of the device, nor do we know when it will be available.

Take a look at the picture of the AT&T version of the Sony Xperia TL below. It is nice to see that even AT&T realizes that this Android needs some class and have decided to put their AT&T logo at the bottom instead of at the top of the handset.

Do you think James Bond chose right by going with a Sony? Or should Daniel Craig gone with a Samsung Galaxy Nexus just like George Clooney was sported doing.
