Next-Gen Toyota Corolla Not Giving Up Yet

By  |

With so many automakers making the decision to focus more on crossovers and SUV, we were a little surprise when Toyota showed how committed they still were to their Toyota Corolla.

According to the reports, Toyota will be investing about $170million into their Mississippi plant, the same plant that they will be using to build the next-gen Toyota Corolla.

The investment will create 400 new jobs over the last 12 months. Toyota plans include replacing the current production line so that the plant can produce advanced vehicles more efficiently and adapt better to the market needs.

Besides Toyota, automakers like Nissan, Honda and Volkswagen has all shown that they are not ready to give up on the sedan market yet as we know that there will be new versions of their sedans coming soon while automakers makers like Ford and GM are more than ready to leave sedan behind and focus on crossovers and SUVs.
