Next-Gen Dodge Challenger Hellcat With 100hp More Would Do The Trick

By  |

If the Dodge Challenger Hellcat that was on the market received a boost from its 707 horses to 800 horsepower then it would be able to compete with the Lamborghini Huracan. But what about the next gen model that is going to be lighter, it would offer up even more speed.

Car lovers would love to see the Dodge Challenger Hellcat going up against the Lamborghini Huracan over the quarter mile. Well recently this is what happened as DragTimes put the 800 horsepower Hellcat up against the stock version of the Huracan and it was very close.

The Dodge Challenger Hellcat got off to a superb start and in the end there was just a .03 second difference for the Huracan to take the win, once the reaction times were taken into account. The reaction time of the Lamborghini was 0.258 seconds and the Dodge took .395 seconds to get off the start line.

Of course it would be very difficult for the Dodge Challenger Hellcat to beat Huracan as it is much lighter and it is all-wheel drive. But you may just be surprised at how tight the race was over the quarter mile.
