The Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 was a no-show at the Detroit Auto Show but that does not mean that Ford is not working on one or that we won’t be seeing one soon.

Just after the Detroit Auto Show ended, Ford released a new teaser video showing off the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 along with a brief titled “ost Powerful Street-Legal Production Ford Ever: All New Mustang Shelby GT500 To Attack Tracks, Drag Strips In 2019.”

In the video, we got to see some parts of the GT500 new front splitter, a vented hood, massive brakes, larger exhaust and more. Ford also released some extra details of what we can expect from the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 like the horsepower.

According to Ford, the vehicle will be arriving in 2019 and that we can expect the vehicle to offer more than 700hp when it arrives thanks to the supercharged V8 engine making it one of the most powerful street-legal production Ford ever.

That is all we know of the vehicle right now but we are sure more details will be released as we get closer to the released date.
